- SURROUNDED BY AGNICO EAGLE AND ON-TREND WITH THE CASA BERARDI GOLD MINE: 25 km of strike and more than 11,000 hectares along the Casa Berardi Deformation Zone, the same belt that hosts Orezone’s Casa Berardi Gold Mine (1.2 Moz Au 2P Reserves, 91 koz Au FY25 Production), Galway’s Estrades Project, and Maple Gold’s Douay Project.
- HISTORIC DRILLING DEFINED TWO DISTINCT GOLD-BEARING ZONES: Approximately 30,000 metres of historic drilling defined two distinct mineralized zones: an intrusion-related zone on the west side of the property and a gold-VMS zone on the east side.
- GOLD IS WITHIN A SEQUENCE OF ROCKS THAT CAN BE TRACED OVER 7 KM: The 2021 diamond drilling program (conducted by NewOrigin) confirmed the high-grade potential of the system within the known broad zones of gold mineralization.
- GEOLOGIC SETTING ANALOGOUS TO THE DOYON-BOUSQUET-LARONDE TREND: Blakelock shares key geological characteristics with the Detour–Bousquet–Laronde trend, one of Québec’s most prolific gold-bearing corridors, highlighting the property’s potential for significant gold mineralization.
- DRILL-READY TARGETS IDENTIFIED BASED ON DEEP-IP SURVEY RESULTS: A total of 9 deep-IP lines were completed in 2016 by Tri Origin and NewOrigin which, in conjunction with other historic data, has led to the identification of several drill-ready targets.
- EASTERN PART OF THE PROPERTY HAS BEEN IDLE SINCE 2021: The eastern part of the property, previously held by NewOrigin, has remained inactive since 2021, opening up a huge opportunity for Harfang to consolidate datasets and conduct meaningful exploration.
